Aussie bacon is far superior to British and American. They use middle bacon, so you get a bit of the streak and a bit of back.

Our butcher does middle and back separately, so we get 6 rashers of each, trim the fat, cook that first, then the middle, then the eye of the back. Nearly always comes out boss.

Can only imagine that placemat reads 'cycle of violence' and you attacked your breakfast before you took that picture. Thats fucking horrible that.

Sorry about the look of this, but it hit the spot. Had a shocker this morning when a breakfast meeting cancelled on me, so I missed breakfast and lunch. Couldn't shake the need for breakfast, so had to rush when I got in cooking while getting ready before I went out. And then broke a joke getting it out of the pan. I failed to finish it unfortunately. Maybe a snack when I get in! 

 

4 bacon

2 Lincolnshire sausage

2 Cumberland sausage

2 black pudding

2 home made hash browns

1 fried slice

3 blue eggs (can't remember the correct type)

Beans which were in the pan still when I took the picture and had to add half way through when there was room on the plate.

Full marks for portion size. I’d have been worried about those sausages. Parts of them look incredibly pale. Were they cooked all the way through? Cook the sausages for longer, or at least more evenly, add mushrooms and tomatoes and I’d destroy that.

How do you compare Lincolnshire sausages to Cumberland? I don’t think I’ve had the former but I saw at the butchers the other day.
