The tour starts next week, can't fucking wait. They've been rehearsing for the last few weeks. Here's some of the stuff they've been doing. Mostly decent. I can't say I can be arsed listening to fucking Nightshift though. Seems that'll be a beer and piss break.

I’ll take ‘Nightshift’ as long as he doesn’t cover ‘shout’ on this tour.

Yeah, we can all do without that too. He's rehearsed quite a number of covers. As this could be the last E street tour, I really think it should be kept to a minimum, but I guess Bruce has another covers album to promote.

With 3 hours to play with he should be able to cover both.

Nice.

You live in America or did you fly over?

I'm going to Amsterdam.  Can't wait.

I flew over. Made a week of it, split between Atlanta and Nashville. Just heading back to Nashville now. I'm going to villa park and Hyde park (Thursday) and I'm thinking of a European one, but might need to take the missus on that as I've been burning off my trips alone - so she might be in charge of the destination.

Amazing night tonight. Will post a bit more tomorrow. He's wearing some cunts jacket here and still carries it off.

I'm just on the plane now, so I don't think I'll be able to upload any video before we take off.

But the show was great. The set list didn't vary much from the Wednesday in Tampa. There was no Patti, so brilliant disguise was dumped and replace with Darlington county. Later in the show we got thunder road instead of burning train. But that aside, I don't think there was much difference. The band was brilliant, but the only negative really is it felt the show lost its way in the middle a bit. In the section from kitty's back to house of a 1000 guitars. Personally I'm not that fussed on kitys back and it just seems a waste of 10 mins to me. And house of 1000 guitars, he sat the arena down and people were chatting away. That's not to say there wasn't some great stuff in between (Johnny 99 almost identical to the version touring with the segger sessions band), but he did lose the crowd a little.

Highlight of the show was probably rosilita during the encore. Little Steven was having the time of his life. And the finish with 10th avenue (with the screens showing clips of Clarence and Danny), followed by the accoustic I'll see you in my dreams was a pretty emotional way out.

Bruce's voice held out well and the only time you could fault him was on Nightshift and he just didn't have the control and it was pretty bad. That song needs dumping from the show imo. There was little in the way of his running around or crowd surfing, but I'm guessing at 73, those days have probably gone.

I'm sure lots will change by the time the tour gets to Europe, but it was great for probably the first time ever to see a show Bruce actually planned! In total it was around 2 hours and 45. All in all a brilliant night.

Never gonna happen but would love to see some Western stars in the set list.

More chance of that if he does a solo tour, like Devils & Dust and Tom Joad days.

Western Stars is a great album.

Mind you, I think the best Springsteen song of the last 5 years was Chinatown with Bleachers.

It looks over the last few shows there's been a few absences with covid. Little Steven and Suzy Tyrone missed a night, which the next gig was followed by Nils and then the latest show Jake Clemons missed. They must be keeping Bruce in a bubble.

The set has been remaining much the same too, with no more than 1 or 2 tunes dropping in new per night.

Oh and there's been a 2nd leg of the north American tour added for after Europe. Some stadium stuff early on, before a break and then returning for some arena stuff.
