What gets me is the way the evertonians have the cheek to complain when they are inciting it all by chanting 'smackhead'. I thought it was an incredibly witty response from Robbie, and for him to be punished for it was scandalous.

The people who have a go at him need to take a step back and put themselves in his shoes. How must it feel to be called a 'smackhead' by 30,000 bluenoses? It would fucking do my nut in and i'd react in a much more volatile way than Robbie did.

C'mon Ian, two-facedness is the essential quality of being a blue. As the song goes (ahem)...

"Down Goodison Park not so long ago,

The Evertonians were singing David Moyes he must go.

Then he won a few games and he was Everton's pride,

You two-faced Everton bastards, you're the sh*t of Merseyside."

I was saying to my brother how sharp he looked yesterday but then again a soggy butty would look sharp against West Brom.

I'd have Robbie back though, it would be amazing to be in the Kop for his comeback game, the place would be booming. And I still think he'd score goals because his movement is great. Yesterday he made a few superb runs but was ignored by team-mates.

10 years ago he'd have been given the ball and buried it
