Salah & Robertson have to be part of a massive clear out this summer

Yep, of the ones not also leaving for free, Salah, Robertson and Endo at least. Get a forward, left back, centre back and real 6.

The announcement of his departure can’t be completely separated from our collapse though.

It’s human nature that the edge goes from a lot of players, who wonder what they’ll do next and if the new manager wants them.

Considering it was announced in November it probably can be.

There has been no collapse in performances, a bit of a dip all round with the forwards (Diaz aside) letting us down big time. The season was 10 games too long for an injury ravaged squad and an exhausted manager.

Some genuinely fucking awful performances tonight but special shouts to Konate, Robertson, Szoboszlai, Nunez & Salah, I would happily see them all dropped for the rest of the season after that fucking disgrace.

Fuck off.

Feel sorry for the folks who live in town - any mention of Klopp in the future will be met immediately by this result.

Forever.

The people who live in Liverpool are used to the small time nature of Everton fans, it's no biggie.

Arrogant, no fight, no composure, no communication, no patterns of play.

They look like shell shocked under 10s rather than a bunch of professional multimillionaire footballers.

Can stomach being beaten but to not go down swinging to these is unforgivable.

For a couple of months I've thought we were the least likely of the three challengers to win the title, but that was because of too many games and too many injuries. Slightly weird that we've gone to shit as the games have started to lessen and we've had players come back. And to see Man U and and the fucking Bitters playing their part too...

We’ve run out of steam unfortunately. Would have been better off sticking with the side from Sunday in retrospect.

Serious questions around some of these players as that isn’t the character you should show in a game like this

Even Alisson was human on the goals tonight. Kelleher may have done better.

I thought he should have saved the first one although there were far worse culprits on that goal.

Yep.

Sadly it has turned into a bit of a shitshow, with the League Cup as consolation.

Mind you, it's as good an excuse as any to bin football for me.  It is shite.

I think the game's started to lessen because we were shit, Utd and Atalanta x2.

Know the players have all turned to cunts, but at least don't ruin everything and still finish top 4, please. Find it in your hearts to do that.

We're going to have to take our medicine with Nunez and Diaz, unless Slot hates them or they want to go. Bigger thing is letting Salah and Robertson go, plus Endo.

It was announced to the players and the public at the end of January. We ran on fumes for a while after and began our collapse from mid-March

Seeing how we have been, I think a new manager and a fresh appraoch is for the best.

Of course it is, Klopp has said as much himself, he's exhausted with it all.

An energised Klopp would still be the best manager in the world and our best hope. But that's not him any more.
