Code told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command. -

Arrogant, no fight, no composure, no communication, no patterns of play. They look like shell shocked under 10s rather than a bunch of professional multimillionaire footballers. Can stomach being beaten but to not go down swinging to these is unforgivable. -

Bottom (The opening credits in particular)

Visited the bench in Hammersmith after a show at the Apollo last year. Apparently the council removed all the tributes so it's just like a memorial bench you see in any random park or seafront with a small brass plaque. Definitely not a fitting tribute in my opinion. -

Chances of it happening are very slim, but just imagine the fury and mayhem if Hamas managed to take out members of the Israeli cabinet's family, or worse even Netanyahu. They sure as hell wouldn't remain at the negotiating table.

Kicking off in Northern Ireland again?
Vector Sigma replied to Mendoza's topic in GF - General Forum
I stumbled across a documentary on BBC iPlayer last night about the Mull of Kintyre Chinook crash in 1994, that wiped out virtually all of the senior NI security apparatus from MI5, RUC and the Army. Seasoned Special Forces pilots, one of whom was on the Bravo Two Zero operation in Iraq, apparently flying too fast and too low in fog. The pilots' gross negligence initially found to be the cause, but there were serious flaws in the Chinook HC2 variant and eventually by 2011 the original decision was overturned. It was implied that there has been a cover up of the proportions of Bloody Sunday and Hillsborough, and that the official records into the inquiry won't be released until 2094. Not massively relevant to the current situation over there, but recommended viewing for anyone interested in the history of the conflict. https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episodes/m001vxy8/chinook-zulu-delta-576- 1,020 replies

Roughest pub you've ever been in??
Vector Sigma replied to Harry Squatter's topic in GF - General Forum
My Dad used to work for Higson's/ Threlfalls in the 70s and 80s. Said the Caradoc was a great pub back then, full of hardworking dockers and internationally renowned. The fact he hasn't been in since speaks volumes though.- 1,303 replies

Never been in despite being a local, but not surprised in the slightest given its reputation! Edit - I got twatted over the head with a pool cue when I was 16/17 in the Queens, on Knowsley Road though. Great times! http://BBC News - Seaforth pub's licence suspended after armed brawl https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-merseyside-68469939- 1,303 replies

Had two fried eggs on seeded toast. Impeccable yolks, salt and coarse black pepper. Dollop of ketchup on the side. Simple, tasty and surprisingly filling.
