Doesnt have to be a conspiracy theory. Hes not gonna come out and say theres massive problems is he?

If hes fucked then why carry on?

Because if you are struggling with something, once you see the end of it you think "I can do it till then and Ive got a rest afterwards". If you can see an end to something it alters perception.

I didn't to be honest, he still looks fucked to me.

Agreed.  I think last seasoon & some of the on field antics of the PGMOL members have really drained him.
Looks like he needs a few months of doing fuck all before he makes any career decisions.

He says he's not fucked, but he doesn't quite feel the same. Says it's like he's driving a sports car that can still perform but only he can notice that the gas is getting low. He specifically says he is still loving it now and has plenty of energy to get through the season, but that he doesn't know if he would have the same energy next year and doesn't want to leave us high and dry.

It’s 24 minutes long and I haven’t listened to all of it yet but it seems that he told ‘the club’ of his intentions at the end of last year. I think he’s just run out of energy and needs a normal life for a while.

There was never going to be a ‘right’ time but this way is absolutely in keeping with everything we know about him

You're absolutely right that there was never going to be a right time and it's probably safe to say that every Liverpool fan would have liked to see him stay until 2026 and then beyond.

But while there was no right time, given the clubs who's managers contracts are ending in the next 2 and a bit years, it's possibly a fortuitous (?) time.

Mid-Season sackings aside it put's us at the front of the queue of teams like Man City, Madrid, Bayern (probably sacked before he gets their), Chelsea and others when it comes to the pick of replacements.

What the fuck is wrong with some of you on here.

Klopp has made clear his reasons for this decsion and the timing.

Some of you soap watching cunts on here have nothing better to do than look for some ulterior motive for that decision.

Given what he has done for this club, and the obvious depth of feelling he has for it, do you really think he would not have considered all the repercussions of his decision and made one that, in his opinion, was best for the club?

FSG want to sell the club as a documentary. He doesnt.

FSG are not on the same page as him.

Absolutely shocked seeing you trying to shitstir. Shocked.

I can retrospectively view his performance on the night of the test event in a new light. Several people pointed out he looked like he'd had a few Erdingers. I thought he had the demeanour of a man with better things to be doing with his evening but felt an obligation to put on a show. I think he's reached that tipping point.

Can only hope we've already got his replacement lined up (Hence why all the backroom staff have also announced they are leaving)

Given they've known about this since November I imagine it's just sensible to have a clean break, you don't want a new manager coming in having to juggle the expectation of replacing Klopp while dealing with a blended staff of ex Klopp employees etc.

This gives you the opportunity to completely re-set the structure from Schmadtke's roll down instead of a slow leeching and re-hiring process of staff over the next few years.

Ok what about the deal with mbappe could be influenced by the combination of cash for the documentary and the exclusive access of a mega signing?

Possible. And we know that it goes against everything Klopp is about.

Yea, same gang.

This will either galvanise the side through the rest of this season or decimate this team entirely with Salah and TAA off in 5 months.
