Orange cunt ahead by 110k in pen with 88%counted. Why are the dems so confident of taking the state?

Approx 500000 votes left, so Biden needs approx 62 %

If it was 60% 300000    40% 200000   Biden would gain 100000 votes on Trump.

These are all mail in ballots, the areas where theses votes are from large democratic areas and Democratics voters vote by mail in larger numbers than Republicans.

During the campaign Biden said vote by mail due to Covid. Trump said vote on the day due to mail corruption. This has increased the ratio of Democratic to Republican mail votes. Since they have been counting mail in votes Biden has been getting approx 70% of newly counted votes.

This is the reason for Democratic confidence.

But isn't he behind in North Carolina, Georgia and philly?

To win the Electoral College you need 273 overall. Biden currently has 253 and Pennsylvania has 20 votes, which mean he wins irrespective of the other States.

Class, underneath it says:

the only problems with trump's suit, according to the judge, is that it was based on hearsay, brought the wrong party to court, couldn't give names of any of the ppl or locations they said broke the law and the relief sought is unavailable because the count is over.

NYT update :

Quote

Alicia Parlapiano, in Washington 26m ago

The registrar in Clark County (Las Vegas) said the county would release the next batch of votes around noon ET on Friday. Remaining votes include mail and provisional ballots.

All I want for Christmas is a fresh batch of votes.

Republican legislatures prevented early counting, it seems. Can't help but wonder if this was co-ordinated with the Trump campaign so he could kick off like he has been doing.

100% it was coordinated, the Red Mirage plan was get everything Red and claim victory/stolen.

Also as I said above their reasoning was Trump voters vote on the day (as told by their President), knowing they would take a large early lead and claim foul play. Whereas Democrats were told to vote by mail, for safety reasons.

By presenting no evidence that this is true.

Maybe but picking a few states is ridiculous. All states should follow the same laws and processes for a National election.

Imagine there being a General Election here and then Yorkshire was announced a day later, then Greater Manchester a few days after that, then Scotland a week later... it’s stupid.

I don't think that's what's happening here. They're still counting votes everywhere. It's just those states are not close so they've been called. I agree it's stunning how long it takes, but some of that is because postals take so long and there's so many, so it's stretching out their process. For may states they still accept postal and military votes till tomorrow as (as long as the postal marks are Tuesday), so in effect the poll is still open and there are some votes are not available to be counted yet.

By talking about it continually over the last five years.

Let us not forget he won the popular vote in 2016 (3 million behind) due to voting fraud. He even held an investigation into 2016 mail/voter fraud (3 cases found in whole of country, if I remember correctly), which proves he was right.

If the fucking Dems has spent several years going around important states strengthening support instead of parroting bullshit about Russia I could've already had my GF thread about Biden the New World Order shill* on the go with several pages of posts.

*globalist marxist socialist antifa shill.

Great point.

Alaska is only 50% counted and not been declared but no one cares because they know Trump will win.

California is only 66% counted but has been called for Biden so no one cares.

Vice News have compiled a summary of the lawsuits that Team Trump have lodged, so far.

Pennsylvania aside, they all look totally doomed to failure. The Pennsylvania claim looks dodgy too. Just not as dodgy as the others.

Did everybody start counting postal votes yesterday or have they been counting as they go along?

No.

You might be pleased to know that O'Keefe is on the go again too. I'll spare you the links because I remember how much of a cunt you think he is but Donnie Jr has been retweeting him and the right wingers are going mental at one of his new videos. I saw one clip and it's supposed to be about Michigan voter fraud but no idea how much truth there is to any of it.

Knowing Trump he'll try to get it to court though. Twitter have been flagging loads of stuff connected to it like they have been with so much other right wing stuff on there lately. I'm suprised Trump hasn't retweeted him yet at this point anyway.

I get that postal votes may take longer to process or that there are some later votes received (as long as posted on time) but California with a population of 40m was able to make a decision on the night. Texas a population of 29m made a decision on the night. Florida was a population of 25m made a decision on the night.

While I know those states aren’t as close as the ones being mentioned, but fundamentally not starting counting postal votes until the day after the election is ridiculous.

California is on 66% counted and their results wont be complete for about 2 weeks. It's just it's about as blue as you can get so it was called by AP on around 55% counted.

Said as much yesterday. The way things are going, the only court Trump will have left to go is Judge Judy.

CNN saying Biden on brink of win. Reckon the way votes are going, it's only a matter of time before he overtakes Trump in Pennsylvania.

I know we don't do facts;

Michigan          - Democratic Run

Nevada           - Democratic Run

Pennsylvania    - Republican Run

Wisconsin        - Republican Run

North Carolina  - Republican Run

Georgia           - Republican Run

Arizona           - Republican Run

Alaska            - Republican Run but I don't believe this is a key state

Some only started yesterday and some started a few days before. It is up to each individual State what they do.

Due to Covid they expected a lot more mail ballots than ever before, so a few States requested a change and to start counting early.

I am not sure which states changed and didn't but obviously Trump tweeted the outstanding states (above in my list) are mainly Democratic, implying fraud and rigging votes.

I know Democrats in Pennsylvania wanted to count earlier but the Republicans said no.

In Texas (Republican run), where they count early it looked like it might go Democrat, until the votes on the day were counted. Again showing mail ballots are more slanted towards Democrats (as everybody knows and has always known)

As @Barrington Womble they are still counting in all States, as they always do, but no one cares as they are not close and have been called, or not called in Alaska case, but that will go Trump.
