You wonder how much Brexit might have an effect on foreign players as well, especially with the plunging pound.  I know footballers can live in a bubble, but the pounds was worth 1.44 euros back in 2015, you could sign a big contract here and bank it in Europe and be laughing.  It's not funny when your wage, usually negotiated in sterling, falls to 1.09 Euro's, and is in danger of dropping more.   A PL journeyman on £100k a week is getting €109k at the moment, but used to get €144k a week.

I think Brandt thought he would never be a first team player at Liverpool with our attacking players. Doubt playing him in midfield would have been an option in the Premier League either. 

 

No other explanation because there was concrete interest at one point and his price was incredibly cheap.

He's trebled his wages going to Dortmund, so I'm guessing he'll be happy. He's also family orientated and a bit of a lad next door type, so I'm not surprised that he's chosen Dortmund as his next club, not far away from his family in Bremen.

No odd one out, there's two. It's United and Spurs cause 3 of the former haven't happened yet and Lo Celso is still at Betis. The rest are all confirmed transfers, which is definitely what you meant.
