Twatter rumours of breakthroughs for both Hector and Dahoud.

Hope so, although I've never been convinced by Hector tbh.

I find Hector to be really average and I think we could do better than him. That being said, I think his game could be suited to the league as he's a pretty physical player.

Totally agree. Steady and unspectacular would be a big step forward for us at let back (sadly).

All we need is a left sided Clyne, just a solid left back that can mark a player and doesn't allow the opposition free rein behind our defence all the time. Someone that's tall enough for us not to be decimated from set pieces, with a brain capable of sensing danger.

Spot on, I've seen some fans say Coutinho is overrated etc last season and they seem to have bought in to what fans from other teams are saying.Imo he is an outstanding player and is potentially world class, he's already good enough to play for Barca.

I would be gutted to see him go and he should only be leaving when Barca are offering him a place in the first eleven, it's criminal that he's went all these years without cl football though and he won't be in it next season with LFC.

Aah, the joys of summer on the FF.  Where a person gets negged twice for an eminently sensible post like this.

Repped for the correct use of "free rein".

Disagree. Our attack plays very narrow so we need full-backs who can get forward and offer an outlet so that we can have width. This is the way Klopp set up at Dortmund. Hector and Clyne wouldn't offer enough going forwards.

We need someone who's more aware defensively than Moreno but that can consistently get forward. Two solid, unspectacular fullbacks aren't ideal for a Klopp team, imo.
