You're definitely on commission as far as Williams is concerned!

I am! I have probably been too influenced by that amazing goal he scored on the volley, the one where he took a long pass, flicked it over the defender and on the turn smashed in an incredible volley into the top corner. Back then the price was supposed to be about £20M but he signed a new deal with a get out clause that seems pretty steep now.

 

So I'd be more than happy with Brandt, or Pulisic for that matter.

Jurgen said he's not sure yet if he'll be available. I reckon Wijnaldum and Sturridge will start with Coutinho on the bench and Lallana left out.

fucking marvellous isn't it....football has to stop for week to accomodate international shite and even with that because of the laughable scheduling of those games with no thought for clubs we are unable to select our best player (cou)....should be a rule that players have to be back at clubs a minimum of 3 days before next league game and the international shite should have to make sure they play games in time to ensure all players they use will be back in that time.

 

Not on that LFC or any other club can't pick their players because of international games.

Just fucking play Coutinho, Sanchez will play for Arsenal at 12:30 on Saturday. Suarez never even considered not playing. We're not in a position not to play our best players in a really important game. I'd we're coasting after an hour take him off.

Exactly that. Fucking right he has to play. They are meant to be prime athletes not Neil frigging Ruddock. Paul Gascoigne used to sink 4 brandies before a match and go and be man of the match. Plus he was a fat bastard.

The fact the Adam Lallana thread only has for pages says it all. As uninspiring a buy as I can remember. At the time we had just come second in the league, were in the Champions League, which when were not in it apparently hinders our ability to buy the best, so when we do qualify why go out and spend £25 million on Lallana? Complete waste of money.

 

He lacks the pace or strength needed to beat a man. He doesn't have a great shot, he doesn't have great vision.

 

He made his name running onto balls laid off to him by Ricky Lambert. That earned him a move to Liverpool in Rodgers eyes.

He'll come good, just wait and see...

This is a really good point and one that should be raised by the clubs. (Do the internationals get them for a week before the games?) Sad part is, it'll just develop into a smart arsed reply from FIFA like the world doesn't stop for the premier league or similar shite.

FIFA can fuck off the players are employed by their clubs...would your employer be happy about you being in no fit state to work because you'd been out working for somebody else all night for example?...

 

These lads should be back in good time so their clubs don't have to suffer.

 

Brazil had our two lads i assume straight after Watford so for me they should have played weds and then sun and our lads home by latest tues...

games are also stretched out like fuck during the poxy breaks so as many as possible are on tv (money ruling yet again)...should get them all played as quickly as possible instead of spreading them all over the week and as you say friendlies should be an absolute no - what was the point of that ingerlund v spain game other than £'s for the fa...
