I get the point, our rivals have some very good strikers at the sharp end. We've had some great strikers over the years and Firmino is a step below that. However...

 

To make sense of it all you have to take the blend of the front three into account. Firmino drops deep and Mane and Salah bomb on. He will weigh in with goals and assists, but won't be as productive as many we've had in his own right, but with the other two either side it does look very good indeed.

 

It remains to be seen if we improve what's behind them, as if we don't their good work will be undermined.
