We've seen this before with Heskey... paragraph after paragraph justifying his selection despite not scoring enough.

Yeah we've seen it before. That bloke Dalglish had about the same goals per game ratio in the league as Firmino, and with him also you had people claiming he was good enough to be in the starting eleven.

I like Firmino.

 

So do I. Like all players, he'll have a bad game or wont be as productive as he could, I mean even Harry Kane doesnt score every game.

 

But Klopp loves his workrate and contribution to the team. That's why sturridge even if he could stay fit wouldnt be ahead of Bobby at getting in the team.

The thing about Kane is, he has a team built around providing him goals. We have an attack where we have four players who are a unit. Mane, Salah, Coutinho, Firmino... say what you want about not having got more players in this window - rightly so, if nothing changes - but that front four is enough to scare any team in world football.
