What happened to him, one minute he had signed a contract with us, the next he had fucked off. I remember him being solid for us, nothing too special, but by the same token someone worth keeping hold of. That being said I was about 11 or 12 when he had gone and I do recall calling Carragher THE WORST PLAYER EVER, so my memory and perception may have been somewhat skewed.

I saw on Reddit that due to new legislation in Spain, wiziwig is shutting down. So what other sites do the same thing?

Thought this was a superb read from Jonathan Wilson of the Grauniad: The Question: Are Barcelona reinventing the W-W formation? To counter teams who sit deep, Barça push both full-backs up the pitch – echoing the 2-3-2-3 formation of the 1930s. Football is a holistic game. Advance a player here and you must retreat a player there. Give one player more attacking responsibility and you must give another increased defensive duties. As three at the back has become outmoded as a balanced or attacking formation – though not as a defensive formation – by the boom in lone-striker systems, coaches have had to address the problem of how to incorporate attacking full-backs …

So it's all getting closer isn't it? 10 wins, 9 if we beat city. City at 60/1 to win the league or something daft. But it's still not over and we've got to keep eating up these 3 points. I'm not expecting much change to the line up. I think fabinho will be held back and given 90 at Shrewsbury. I'd not be shocked if origi or minamino came in, but I'm not expecting it. I like this wolves team. They seem to be a proper team and I think if they hadn't had the extra European games would be up there with Chelsea and maybe even Leicester. But I think this is where we excel, the bigger the challenge the better we are. I think we're going to …

The only way we are winning this match and it doesn't go to a shitty replay is if the "We've got no shit players anymore..." thread gets binned. Thats all I've got really. I'm not arsed with this match I'm more concerned that cameroon do us a favour and send Mane home early.

It’s a long shot I know, but has anyone got a spare or any good contacts to get one ticket for the Wolves game? Cheers, Neil.

Looks like we finally might have to play a game tomorrow. I'd job with the following team: ---------------------Reina---------------------- Johnson------Skrtel--------Agger---------Aurelio Gerrard-------Lucas--------Meireles---------Maxi ---------------Ngog--------Torres--------------- But I think we'll see: ---------------------Reina---------------------- Johnson------Skrtel---------Soto--------Konchesky Meireles-------Lucas--------Gerrard----------Cole ---------------Kuyt--------Torres--------------- Maybe Kuyt on the right, Gerrard off Torres with Meireles in the centre though. I don't see why Ngog should b…

Last game without Gerrard. Would be great to get an away win, but any win for Kenny and the team. I'd go: ---------------------Reina----------------------- Kelly---------Soto-------------Agger-------Aurelio --------------Lucas----------Meireles------------- Johnson---------------Cole-------------------Maxi ---------------------Torres----------------------- Don't want to see Kuyt on the wing. Hopefully we'll see Pacheco or Suso on the bench to be a good option.

15 wins to go. What a December this has been. A win tomorrow and it's probably our best December ever, I certainly can't think of a better one and aided and abetted by our nearest rivals, who'd have thought it would be possible to go to Doha and win yet finish the month further ahead of our rivals. I think klopp will try his best to change this around today and against sheff United. But we're running short of options with both Williams and Jones on the bench against Leicester. Luckily for us wolves will be exhausted after the league fixed the schedule so city could wear all our opponents out with their fabulousness before we face them, we have a …

Well I'm only just sobering up from weds. Theres not much chance of recovery between games this time of year. I've not seen much of wolves so far this season, so I don't really know what to expect tomorrow. I think klopp will want to change some players around, although clearly the game tomorrow is more important than Milan, he does also hate the weds-sat turn around. I suspect konate will get the next couple of games and milner and Chamberlain will get 1 start each across the 2 games. I reckon the forward line will remain the same with mini and origi getting their games on Tuesday. Neco and kostas will get Tuesday too I reckon. Alisson, Trent, r…

So it'll feel like an end of season with a 3 week gap after this game. What a stupid season this is. I wonder if RBL was the game to change a few minds and build some confidence. As posted on that match thread, I barely remember a thing of the game, but from the bits I've read fabinho was great and apparently thiago even played well. As for the team, is there a reason to change the line up? I can't think of one. So, alisson, Trent, robbo, Phillips, kabak, fabinho, Gini, thiago, Jota, mane, Salah. Wolves are a team who never really look like scoring this season even when they do, so hopefully that means there won't be much for our defence to do. A…

This game could define our season in a lot of ways. As fantastic as progression in the two cups is, somehow we're still not out of the race for fourth and Chelsea and Arsenal have the added complication of Champions League football to deal with now. A tricky game and we're still without Suarez, but at least Johnson, Adam, Bellamy and Dirk will be relatively fresh for it if we need to change things around. Maybe Spearing and/or Shelvey will figure either. Either way, Tuesday should tell us more about the mentality of some of our players than today did. We've had some horrendous displays directly following victories over that shower over the last decade.

So I guess we'll find out for sure soon, but it's looking like games will go ahead. I hope they do even if a break to get players fitter might help us right now. What the fuck are we going to do I don't know. So many players look out of form. This added to our invisible midfield is a nightmare. Are the two directly connected? I think there's a chance that is the case. I'm not someone who advocates playing Trent in midfield, my view is why would you want to move one of the world's best full backs. The trouble is, I don't think Trent is that at the moment. So I'd be very tempted to bring Gomez in at right back (and hope Wednesday was just one of those days for …

Well here we go. This season has been great no matter what happens Sunday. Diaz gave us the extra body we needed in January and I'll be forever grateful to spurs for forcing our hand, which has maybe created the chance to win the fucking lot. Wolves are shite. I just want to get that out first. And at our best we wipe the floor with them and I don't think we're under pressure, so I'm sure we'll do what needs to be done. Team selection is hard to predict, but klopp insinuated on one of the interviews I heard that everyone is back - I'm guessing that doesn't include fab. So my guess is we'll pick the team for Paris minus fab. So in that situation there's only o…

Well this feels like an eternity between games. It's still 3 days away! The players must be as grateful for the mental relief as much as the physical one. I like wolves as a team, they're one of the few I genuinely enjoy watching, although as VAR kills my footballing spirit, I don't think I've actually watched them yet this season except on motd etc. Their results are a bit up and down and surely they can't be quite as strong without Jimenez as he's so important to them. But they certainly make you work for your points. I think anyone who's fit will/can play, so this will be as strong a team as klopp can put out with being able to rest the lot on Tuesday. The…

I have no idea what team will be selected to be honest. If it was myself, I would go along with a 'safe' selection where you know you are more than likely going to get a performance. -----------------Reina------------------- Kelly-----Carragher----Skrtel------Enrique ----------Adam--------Lucas------------ Downing--------------------------Bellamy ----------Suarez-------Kuyt------------- Gerrard, Carroll, Maxi and Henderson on the bench. I get the feeling Henderson will start though. We need a win, a convincing one would be great.

I'd like us to win. Bringing the kids over for this, will have time to kill so going to try stalk the players. Anyone know the match day routine for an 8pm kick off? Do they stay in the Titanic Hotel for late kick offs and would they go for a stroll after breakfast?

So we move on to another game where its another must win and not winning undoes what we did on Sunday. There's no reason to think we can't beat them though. I dunno what I think about these Friday night matches. I hate the non stop accommodation of TV, but when it's relatively local for the lads going to get back, I think Friday night would be good, I think I'd have loved it back when I went all the aways. 1-3, firmino to show some form and get a couple.

Lets strike while the iron is still relatively hot. As I mentioned in the City thread, I think this game has taken on a bit more importance now. A win or a draw tonight and I wouldn't have been arsed if we'd have turned up at Wolves with a load of kids. Sadly, that's not the case now and I think it's important we get back into winning ways ASAP. Wolves are in no danger of going down, will probably be full strength and will relish the chance of knocking any Liverpool side out of the cup in front of their home fans. Lets go full strength, win the fucking game and then move on to Brighton. I'd hate to go to Brighton on the back of two str…
