The Gunners travel to Anfield without leading scorer Robin van Persie, striker Emmanuel Adebayor and goalkeeper Manuel Almunia.

Defenders William Gallas, Gael Clichy and Johan Djourou are also out.

SAMMY ISSUES ARSENAL WARNING

Sorry if it's already been posted, but may the gods have mercy on that Arsenal team tomorrow.

I'm going to be losing sleep over this one, that's for sure!

No really, I will be losing sleep over it, I have to wake up at 5-fucking-am to watch it!!

Oh and, try Lucas in Stevie's attacking-midfielder/second striker role. It works pretty well in PES 2009 :D

Is Sagna playing? He can be a handfull, much rather that clown Eboue plays instead.

BBC says :

Full-back Bacary Sagna has recovered from a virus and could feature along with fit-again Croatia forward Eduardo.

So maybe. I'm just happy that both Adebayor and Van Persie are out. It should make things a lot easier. They'll have the ability to get the ball in a lot with Fabregas Nasri and Walcott if they all play, but not as much chance of scoring at all + weak defence. (ah damn, forgot about Eduardo.)

I just hope we don't miss Gerrard too much, and if we don't we'll hopefully be ok.

Wenger is a BORING BASTARD, Arsenal and their fucking beatuiful football, their aint anything beautiful about that big fucking Danish lump I'll have to look at for the best part of 90 minutes tonight.

I know he's a tout but that's a bit harsh on Agger!

Bendtner will miss some sitters today, he always does.

Whilst everyone is saying it will be an easy win because Arsenal are under strength lets not forget that the team they put out tonight will still probably contain Arshavin, Fabregas, Eduardo, Nasri and Walcott.

Thats five players who if allowed the time and space will run rings around most teams so its important we snap in at them from the word go as its human nature that they will think about the Champions Leauge semi on the horizon and will not want to get involved in a fight tonight.

I'll be interested to see what system Wenger picks.

On Saturday he went with Fabregas, Denilson and Diaby behind Walcott, Van Persie and Adebayor.

Last Wednesday against Villareal he went with an extra attacker (Nasri) and had just Fabregas and Song in the middle.

Will he play Walcott, Arshavin and Nasri behind Bendtner or will he sacrifice one for an extra midfielder?

I think the fact that Adebayor has been "rested" because of his hamstring might say a lot about Arsenal's mentality going into this one.

If it was a big priority, he'd play.

I was worried about this match with Gerrard not playing and that, but then I opened this thread and saw wenger was leaving so many players out... Fabianski is on par with Gomez in goal. I have a feeling Xabi will score from the halfway line again tonight.

I'm a bit worried that people are expecting Fabianski to have a nightmare.

Yes, he had a bad game on Saturday but he did well in the away leg in Villareal and from what I've heard both Arsenal and Poland think very highly of him.

Of course, his confidence might be shattered after the Chelsea game but too many people are writing him off already.

PS I'm glad I'm not watching this game on Sky. Keys will have the balls pulled off himself with the amount of conspiracies and "mind games" going on at the minute.

It will be really tough tonight, IMO. I don't care how we win the game, we just need the three points!

Probably that fella in your picture there.

Just reading some of his stats this season, quite frightening.

He's only been on the pitch 19 times in the league and he's got 11 goals.

Out of those 19 games, only 15 were starts.

Out of those 15, one was the Villa game where he only lasted 30 minutes and two of them were against Wigan and Everton where he was nowhere near fit.

First goalscorer tonight. 4/1 on paddypower.
