Twice that's happened recently, the ref going to the monitor for offside.  I posted exactly the same, I thought offside was a "factual" decision?

No idea what your feed showed - on mine the commentator mentioned it immediately.

 

BBC seems to agree with you though.

It didn't deflect, he put his foot in to clear the cross meaning he should be onside

Also the referee looked at the offside on the monitor. Never ever happened before. Unless they spotted a free on there, that's highly suspect
