The relative sizes of the protagonists involved barely matters. If you are on one foot and side on, your balance is totally compromised  & it doesn't take much to knock you over.

 

I am staggered that some people don't think it was a foul/s.

 

It was a foul but he'd already stopped play waiting for the ref's whistle. If he's switched on, there's absolutely no way he gets pushed over by that squirt. 

 

Anyway, it's great that it didn't ultimately matter and that he's the type of character who doesn't fall to pieces when he makes a mistake.

And a goal conceded didn't result in multiple bouts of pant-shitting which makes a nice change.

I fuckin love him. Clearly loves the badge and will run himself into the ground for us.

He got caught out of position a few times tonight but boy was he good at times. Amazing to think he couldn't get in the team before Christmas. Well in, Robbo.

Don't think it was about getting into the team, same thing With Oxo, they've got to learn the style of play, when to press, when not to, when to push forward (seems to be all the time)...

 

I think it was more to do with protecting him than anything.
