I don't think Hodgson believes Babel can handle the defensive side of the game though. Hence he's pigeon holed him as a striker.

Where have I attributted fualt or blame? My understanding is that Maxi was instructed to keep Evra qiuet, which he did. A pefectly sensible option taken by Roy, given that Evra is probably one of best attacking fullbacks in the world.

I believe we should do the same thing as the Mancs, only buy players under 26, Berbatov being the exception.

When we signed Maxi I thought happy days its a good signing but I have yet to see him a have a good game for us, He doesn't offer us anything.
