There were a few interesting articles by a former Associated Press reporter about how AP and the rest of the media frame the conflict, written a few years ago but still painfully relevant.

Those are interesting.

Makes you wonder how this latest strike will be framed?

There were a few attempts to repeal or amend it last year. Not successful - yet.

https://www.jpost.com/breaking-news/amendment-to-clarify-equality-in-nation-state-law-rejected-636722

But you surely know this already, since you're speaking with such authority on this subject?

Yes those efforts were soundly defeated and one party wasn't even willing to repeal the law, just amend it. It didn't take much reading to discover the dramatic change in Israeli public opinion, we're not talking quantum physics here, its simply public opinion, the extent of which is easily found in numerous places.

Do you honestly think a true two-state solution is viable alternative any longer?

Yeah, was going to say the same. Worth a read. Makes you wonder how things are being framed by the Israeli press and how that’s influencing the views of the people posted in some of those Twitter clips posted earlier on.

Hearing respected, independent international journalists talk about this attack on the building housing the offices of Associated Press and Al Jazeera is pretty harrowing. The idea that it was the base of Hamas military intelligence and that the AP were shacked up with them is pretty ridiculous. The journos calling it a brazen attempt to silence the media are brave. It’s almost like they e got something to hide.

War crime. Shame on any media outlets that don't call it out as such.

Eternal impunity = increasing levels of brazenness.

Okay, so when you say Israel, you're talking about the million or so Israelis (out of a nation of 9 million) who voted for Netanyahu. That's clearer, thanks.

Yes, because all the others are peace loving individuals concerned only with the welfare of their families and have absolutely no expansionist ambitions or supremacist beliefs.  Duck off, aunt.

Same as them tory bots, get some arabs in saddam t-shirts in-front of the bbc broadcast that they know they have to report? Maybe? I mean I've seen a shit load of images of the protest today and didn't see a single saddam t-shirt.

There was a bloke walking around on our village high street this afternoon with a 'Free Palestine' placard. All on his own mind.

Sounds like John McClane in Die Hard With A Vengeance.

If you ring NHS 111 you can call in a drone strike. Cracking new feature.
