The eye test says otherwise.

They have the talismanic McTomminay rescuing them every other week.

The same McTomminay they were wanting to sell pre-season?

More talk amongst their brethren that McTominay should be playing every week.

As a false nine. This is not the first of these discussuins.

But didn't they just spend 70m on a younger version of Haaland who is going to lead them to the promised land.

They won all 3 league games in November and didn't concede a goal. Granted thet played shite teams but these things get won on stats more often than not

And clearly they must’ve made hard work of it, if it’s their centre back that was most important to that run.

Wait, what?

The epitome of scoreboard journalism. No consideration of how they played, who they played, how the other team played, etc. Dyche, for example, or Emery, deserved it much more. Laughable. But if it keeps him I’m a job longer then it’s worth it.

I know it's the party line on here to say they're shite but they fucking battered Chelsea all second half the other night & they'll beat Bournemouth today. They were only a slab head intervention away from a draw at Newcastle too. I think they're improving.

I'm a bit wary about the game on the 17th, we'll need to be right on it.

if all your written was the last sentence I’d rep this post but the rest…

chelsea are no barometer. They’re absolutely awful when they’re not at it, so while United might’ve been (and sounds like they were) good, I’m still tempering it.

calling them only a slabhead intervention away from a draw with Newcastle though? They got absolutely battered for the full 90 didn’t they? From everything I saw they did.

They might beat Bournemouth and they aren’t total bums, and they definitely can’t be taken for granted next weekend, but man… they’re still shit.

Regardless of how they played at Newcastle, if he hadn't have got in the way at the death, they would have come away with a point.

There were posters on here wanting them to win that game, which I'm still in shock at.

Seven Haag is absolutely nowhere near getting the sack at the moment.

If Bournemouth stey ahead today and Brentford dont win, Man Utd will have beaten every team in the bottom half and lost to every team that they have played in the top half (of the teams that they have played so far)

which is great news. He’s not the worst manager in the world, but he’s not the answer to them getting back on top and who knows - the next one could be, so keep him as long as possible
