Trying to get my blood pressure down but very difficult when you don't like anything that is meant to be healthy. Since becomihg semi-retired I have a cooked breakfast or breakfast butty every morning and pies and sausages are my favourite foods. I once got laughed at in work for suggesting I was cutting down by having a chicken and mushroom pie rather than a steak one.

Scotch Eggs are a staple in our fridge. We regularly run out of milk but never eggs wrapped in sausage meat and breadcrumbs.

I think if I found myself on death row and had to request my last meal I’d have three Scotch Eggs (starter, main, pudding).

All being well I’d have a heart attack on the way to the electric chair and thereby ‘stick it to the man’ as my final, Scotch Egg fuelled, defiant act.

No, only got picked up on a routine check a couple of weeks ago and not massively over, so they are going down the diet / lifestyle route first.

I hate taking tablets, can't remember the last one I took, probably after a hernia op in 2016 when 2 codeine made me feel like I was on LSD.
