Think BT are being generous, it looked a fraction offside. Given that two other attacking players were clearly offside it's not surprising the assistant ref flagged it.

 

Relieved we scored, we've been poor so far, really one paced and lethargic whilst looking vulnerable defensively.

 

Thing is about Fulham is they've looked good until they concede on numerous occasions, they were right in it for an hour against Arsenal and then fell apart.

He's incredibly frustrating of late, coupled with him delaying signing a new contract. I think his heads elsewhere to be honest.

Be nice if Robertson actually helped Mane offensively, offering fuck all again today.  All the attacks going down the right hand side where TAA is doing well right up until the final ball.

 

Defence has looked ropey as fuck, could well have gifted them two goals out of nothing with mistakes from Becker and VVD.  I wouldn't be surprised if Klopp changes this at HT.  

 

In theory, Fulham will have to push up now and leave us space to exploit, get the next goal and we're home and dry.

Mané offers nothing at the moment. His touch is poor, he always turns backwards and Robertson needs someone on his side not playing in diving boots.

Salah's motor control is exceptional. That last minor touch before scoring was the difference between him and Mané.

 

Fabinho settling into it nicely but he still looks a little slow. Needs to snap into challenges faster.

Not great. We seem a shadow of our former themselves. Sloppy. Mane's first touch today has been shocking.  The decision making with passes and crosses is strange lately there can be open players but they will try to squeeze it through the eye of a needle to a player surrounded by 3 players.

They'll look to stay only 1 down until about 80 mins then push - that is how everyone tries to play v us outside top 6.

 

These fuckers are softest team in league but have amazingly turned into a good Mourinho team today with time wasting, solid shape and long ball counters.

We shouldn't be playing this formation at home. It's an away,counter attacking one for me. Get salah wide, shaq the link man between attack and middle and go from there. 

Very frustrating. They've only had 25% possession yet could and probably should have had a couple of goals.

Too casual, little red pigs. Too casual.

 

Last season, despite the number of goals the front three scored, their finishing at times was too casual - as if it didn’t matter because another chance would be along in a minute.

 

That casualness seems to have creeped into our general play this season - often in our passsing and control. The players need to be reminded of the need to work against teams, not just the top teams, and that the idea that teams of beaten before they kick a ball only happens when you are playing in a way that disheartens them.
