Nah by the time of his injury he had made himself a key member of the first XI. He had a difficult start while he was learning the ropes but once he got into the swing of things he was largely brilliant. I’ll fight you over this

When he plays a more attacking role he looks good, very good sometimes, but in CM he was bang average. I’ll fight to agree to disagree to fight.

Of course he was.

It’s not worth debating with anyone suggesting otherwise.

Just smile & nod!

Chamberlain was perfect for Klopp's style. An explosive, athletic ball carrier from midfield about to enter his prime years. I don't think people understand how rare a commodity that is in football and it's the exact profile that is the most useful in a really quick attacking and high pressing side. If people don't get that they'll never get the signing. As time went on, he was also showing concrete signs on the pitch why Klopp was interested. He was growing as a player.

I wouldn't really see the need for Ramsey. His wages are high and he's not creative enough to be a massive upgrade on what we have, although he'd fit in with the squad I suspect.

Can we buy a decent attacking midfielder please, seeing Fekir play does my nut in. Awesome player, but getting the "other" repair on an ACL injury apparently is shit according to big John W. Writing this probably makes him tear it again come this weekend.

We were crying out for him and his style last night.

Erm, exactly. We certainly could have used him or someone like him. Alas, he’s injured. As has been said many times about him before.

Also, buy Fekir.

Come on, the correct reply to this is ‘you daft prick, you didn’t want AOC because of injury but you want Fekir!?’.

I think there is something wrong with the quoting as messages posted by one person are being attributed to the person replying. So it looks like posters are replying to and arguing with themselves.

Maybe the forums have become loony bins.

It really wasn't worth the hassle. 3 fences and a pot noodle. No wanks. What?

Knowing our luck we'll buy Fekir in January then he'll be out for the season after 3 games.

Well if we're stupid enough to buy a player who flunked his medical....thankfully we've walked away and despite Lyon whoring him around, nobody looked twice.

There's a million and one creative midfielders without medical problems that would improve us, it isn't that hard when average players like Lallana and oxocube have briefly brought some balance to the side,

Best case scenario is Kieta settlies in soon cause I highly doubt there'll be any money in January.  We went for Allison with the Fekir money.
