For starters we clearly have depth. Have you not seen our start to the season, the amount of different players we have used in the league & CL, 20 players (I won't include all the ones last night). Then you clearly aren't taking into account the COVID sitiuation, the huge contracts we gave & other expenditure - expansion of Anfield, new training ground etc. We already have the depth, we are being prudent during tough times, we're top of the league & people have the audacity to have a go at FSG, after all they have done for us. The only simplistic thing on the last few pages is from you! Hate 'fans' like you. Go support City or Chelsea. You only care how much we spend.

My biggest pet hate is a (sadly) large percentage of our fanbase (especially online) who just attack FSG all the time. Yeah "go fuck yourselves FSG" for hiring Klopp, the best manager in the world. "go fuck yourselves FSG" for deciding to stay at Anfield (the best football stadium in the world in my eyes) & expanding it to allow us more fans to see our amazing team. "go fuck yourselves FSG" for promoting Edwards & hiring numerous stats geeks with a believe in analytics which has made our recruitment the best around, almost flawless. "go fuck yourselves FSG" for building a new training ground. "go fuck yourselves FSG" for taking us from a team with Hodgson, filled with crap. To a side managers by Klopp & filled with world class players. "go fuck yourselves FSG" for hiring the right people (Klopp, Edwards, players etc) to winning us the first title in 30+ years & getting us another CL trophy. "go fuck yourselves FSG" for making us go from a selling club whenever our top players decided they wanted to go... to now a club that retains its elite players. This was a huge expenditure this summer in itself (as was all the bonuses we paid for winning the CL & PL). Are these FSG critics so short sighted that they can't remember the mess they inherited, what we have achieved (& grown) with them in charge & how well we are run as a club now days. "bUT wE dIdNT WIn THe tRASfeR WinDOw" - not "go fuck yourselves FSG" - these 'FSG OUTers' or general FSG critics need to STFU. They're embarrassing, spoilt & potentially damaging with their constant negativity & the biggest threat to our success on the field & bright future if they get their wish and FSG have enough off their ungrateful, aggressive, unreasonable, cunty behaviour. We're top of the league by the way, anyone who is still a FSG critic (you're probably a bellend).

He's a very good finisher & showed it plenty of times. He's just usually being unselfish for the team and doesn't get in those areas as much to do so. He is world class. You don't captain & be a regular in the CL & PL winners, a team that achieved 97 then 99 points (of which he got footballers writers award), unless you are world class. There's a reason why he's been a constant for Klopp more often than not. Still underrated then!

What a winner for us mid week. The biggest shithouse thing this forum has done is slag off the captain (mostly unjustly) for years in this thread. Then changing the title to make out it is an appreciation thread when we win the CL & PL. No it was a thread started to slag off our legendary & world class captain.

Whether we’ve argued, debated, abused each other or whatever. We’ve done it on here because we care about this club & we’ve all wanted that title back, we’ve been passionate during the process. Enjoy it everyone - it’s back!

You have to be joking. You think he just has the most tackles and interceptions without being up for the fight. Or has the most touches in games from the midfielders because he hides. Seems there is a perception about Keita that he's been a flop & it is very very wrong. Didn't have his best game the other night (nor did anyone apart from Gini & Trent) - still won the most tackles when he was on the field.

I find it hard that people can't be impressed with him when they watch. But removing that bias or perception they have in their minds when judging then you look at the stats and realise he's incredibly effective both attacking & defensively. Genuinely don't get the criticism he's getting. My only criticism is he can't stay fit. I'd post some stats, but it seems people want to believe only what they see - illogical.

Keita wins more tackles than anyone when he plays. Not a fighter? Lol Should be one of the first names on the teamsheet when we play Atletico.

Fabinho has been really poor since coming back from injury. I don't think we necessarily need Henderson. But if Fabinho doesn't pick up his form in the next few games before Atletico, I'd be wanting to see Gini in the 6 role (assuming Hendo is out). I want the Fabinho who was bossing Man City earlier this season, looks a shadow of that player recently. Hopefully games help.

I think the tag team part is hard as some were individual wrestlers in their own right. Think it’s a players risk if they want to try & get one in their seven. But it will take them 2 picks

Did I read Saka of Arsenal is on a free in 18 months & isn't signing a new deal. He'd be great competition for Robertson & able to play in other positions. I'm seeing Melissa Reddy saying LFC will only pay big for "difference makers" like Van Dijk & Alisson were. Surely someone like Sancho or Mbappe are seen a difference makers? Don't think Mbappe will ever happen though, given the size of fee & wages he'd demand. Werner does look such shrewed value.
