Also, if people are giving recommendations, the same for a pair of lightweight, breathable hiking boots please, waterproof obviously. Cheers!

I have a pair of Skechers. They're more like high-top sneakers than outright hikinig boots, but they're lightweight, they're water-proof, and I've put several hundred miles of trail hiking on them and they're still in perfect condition. And they're more comfortable than any hiking boot.

Recommendations needed. Lightweight and quick drying hiking shorts for stomping around mountains in high temperatures. Don’t really want them to look too technical and certainly don’t want to look like Turdseye

thanks

I’ve had some good stuff from Montane recently

I’ll begin by saying that unless you’re talking plastic even so called waterproof boots aren’t completely waterproof.

What are you planning to use these boots for?
I’ve got some fabulous Berghaus boots but I also have a pair of Meindl walking shoes which are much lighter and are great for summer / dry weather walking
