Lallana and Coutinho on the same level. That's almost as bad as Rodgers rating Lovren ahead of Sakho, almost.

Lallana's failing at his one shot at a bigish club and Coutinho will move on to better things soon. There's no comparing the two.

Laillana's been Rodgered. Rodgers makes every player he gets his hands on ten times shitter. There's a good player in there.

I've read some fucked up shit on here in my time but that one by stringers there just topped the lot

it's my age.  But I've really got no cross to bear for either of them - I just find it strange how people will bend over backwards to defend one player and bend over backwards to criticise another when they both produce the same.  It's about outcomes.  I love watching skilful players, but it becomes a pain in the arse if they're not actually contributing anything - whether that's Coutinho, Lallana, Firminio or Lovren.

Speaking of commentators, what has happened to Michael Owen?  I mean, he was never a bright lad, but it's like someone has given him a lobotomy and he never even noticed.

"Chirivella's played well, but you'd just like to see him imposing himself on the game a bit more."  Sure, Michael.  What we really should be demanding of an 18-year old making his debut away in Europe at defensive midfield is that he "impose himself on the game."  That seems fair.

If he'd just stopped at "Chivellas played well", he'd have been on to something.

A tidy run out i thought.

Showed composure and found people with some well hit passes.

Therefore, I expect to never see him in a Liverpool shirt again.

Suso-esque for me Clive.

Points an ok result but it's same old same as far as performance goes.

Rodgers is on his deathbed as far as his Liverpool manager career is concerned. Every game we waste is a game the new man could have used to settle in.

He should be on his deathbed but he's not cos there are no real football men at the club who will call him out on all this shit.

Also, there is no ambition from owners to be anything better

did I fall asleep in January 2014 and dream we played our best football for 25 years and that Brendan will give the kids their story....

talk about the modern fickle fan - fortunately, most match going fans are a bit sturdier than you internet warriors, although I do remember murmurs about Paisley going in May 81 after we pathetically lost to Sunderland 0-1 on the last game of the season (and those 10,000 away fans, 2000 of which were in the Kop)..Paris soon stopped such talk but our league demise continued until Boxing Day and the Joe Corrigan game, and talk was still rife then that Bob was past it...

..in other words, patience and support is a virtue.....not for someone like Hogdson perhaps who never earnt it, but Brendan has...wait until he has his 1st team available before writing him off, which means Sturridge up front with Benteke, Coutinho behind, Allen holding and Hendo and Milner making up the diamond....love the new full backs and tonight proved that Sakho should be the rock alongside Mart.

oh, and can we all now agree that Emre Can is a "German Paul Stewart"  - can't control the ball, can't pass, has no positional sense, has no speed when closing a man down/ trying to win the ball, yet struts around in an arrogant fashion as if he's Paul Breitner....fucking hate the ponce
