I assume he means 'redrawn' there. Although 'withdrawn' is actually a better term, seeing as it's going to be replaced with an employer-serf model, with people forced to accept increasingly worse employment terms and no possibility of legal redress.

For all your bombastic "bring it on" nonsense (and for all the efforts to promote Tony Benn's "two fires" that I have to do, as a union branch secretary) the reality is that the working class is on the back foot.  We're not "finding our voice" - we're fighting defensive actions against the most virulently anti-worker Government for decades, to try to protect our members from genuine poverty; and "the whole point of Brexit" is to stack the odds against us.

A Kent brewery chosen to help champion export opportunities for the government after Brexit has revealed that burdensome customs checks and paperwork have left it with just one remaining customer in the EU.

The Old Dairy Brewery in Kent – a Department for International Trade export champion for the south-east – appeared in a government video last year promoting the potential to boost Brexit export sales.

However its exports of bottled and keg Kent ale to countries including Italy, Germany and Sweden have slumped since the UK left the EU because of the onerous paperwork.

The EU isn't in government in any of those countries. However neoliberal the EU has undoubtedly become, the bottom line is that it's the government of any Member State that chooses to either support or exploit working class people. 

 

Also, that article is about the threat that the Far Right pose to the EU. (Nothing there to support the suggestion that, if I remember rightly, you have previously made, that EU membership gives rise to the Far Right.) What is it about the EU that unites all of Europe's Fascists against it?
