580 million reasons to be cheerful - New stand naming rights sale?

Surely with this new TV deal they can stop being over cautious about rebuilding the Anfield Road end?.

Couple of people have said that it was dependant on us qualifying for the Champions League but the new TV deal and this record kit deal (even though no one knows exactly how much it is) would help. We've also increased our sponsors over the last few years and the Standard Chartered deal must be up for renewal soon?.

That's how we see it as fans. They probably look at as business as usual and the CL as the basis of funding the Anfield Rd regardless of all other revenue sources.

The New Annie Road end is less of a banker for them as it is all general admission seats. The new stand virtually pays for itself with the corporates. Once they managed to secure the housing, which was always the sticking point, it was a no brainer.

I still think it will get done if we are still consistently selling out.

Except most of the tv revenue will end up in players and agent's pockets. And they've still got the day to day running of the club plus any transfer fees to pay.

Because financially it makes little sense for them to to anything else with the ground once we've got our new stand.

The Main Stand is what will drive matchday revenues because of the corporate and hospitality which is what this rebuild is about. The extra seats in ARE would go to general admission so for what it cost to build we'd have little return. Also it means a higher capacity may take away their supply and demand leverage. They may build it and they may not but it's something they'll be in a rush to do or particularly bothered about, hence the non-committal attitude.

Just like the TV deal the fans will get fuck all out of this except higher prices.

The length's they're going to in pretending to build us a new stand are astounding.

Thats not Liverpool, thats somewhere in Africa, all of the workers are black and the sky's clearly been photoshopped grey. You can see that all of the houses in the background are made out of cardboard as well because they're all 2d.

Kubrick faked his own death so he could stage this hoax in total secrecy.  (He's learned from the Moon Landings, when too many truth-seekers got to close to sussing him out.)

As far as I'm aware the kit deal hasn't changed apart from the name?

Standard Chartered renewed at the same rate, £20 million per season but they allowed us to negotiate a separate training kit deal which went to Garuda for around £16 million a year. I think the Garuda deal also includes making them them our official airline partner too.
