Whilst we are on the subject if I phone Magic Sponge or text him he ignores me, neg him and he is on the phone within the hour asking for it to be explained.

BBC One - The Voice UK

 

Oh fuck, another fucking singing contest is coming. "A singing contest with a difference" claim the BBC. Quibbles, really. They have their back to them, so it's "all about the voice", or something. It's the same tired format, with a bunch of cunts over emphasising a phrase in a song ad infitum. Horrific. Whilst the celebrity "expert" judges get to gush over what a raw talent they are. FUCK OFF! Do we really need another show like this? How many years has the X Factor rumbled on with the same format and the same wankers eulogising over it year after year?

 

There was a clip on TV burp last night that summed up the ridiculousness of these shows, some bint on the X Factor making stupid and pointless facial expressions whilst singing a line from a song. Harry Hill rightly took the piss. Cowell needs maiming for convincing so many gullible biffs that this is is music. It isn't. It's torture.

Watching the repeat at the moment and it strikes me that the show is actually like a cult. When you watch these nuts church groups in the states, they build everyone up into some mad frenzy of music and shouting and emotions and hysterics, and then they cool it down with some slow music and tears. This is no different at all, even the way it's filmed with the fast camera work which spins and spins you around, the tears and the euphoria that ensues when someone gets a positive comment. Some of the audience look posessed and on the verge of going into full frenzy mode, shaking and tripping out. It is just like a cult.

2 brilliant posts there lads, was at a mate's house hungover today watching that execrabletm bilge and couldn't believe what a shower of obnoxious thundercunts there were performing. The very worst were some boy band bastards who just dripped with smug arrogance.
