This win has an added significance obviously for all the flip flop shown by Torres. Had Chelsea won it today, the media would've been drooling for days over Torres' wonders to put one over his former club in his first appearance for "mighty" chelsea. Great victory, and kudos to the boys and of course to Dalglish who seems to be transforming this squad from a bunch of demoralized quitters to a combative fighting outfit; that is the Liverpool I knew and if we keep on playing like that, fourth is a possibility.

Merieles - scored the goal again but also ran his ass off and his touch and ability to find and bring people into space was more than evident once again.

 

Lucas - probably not a popular choice but other than a few "up an unders" he provided fantastic cover in front of the back 5/3 and he kept play moving well when Chelsea tried to press the ball.

 

Kuyt - Couldn't have put anymore effort in and playing out of position was a constant thorn in Chelsea's side. Terry knows he was in a game today, well yesterday!
