Normally our best 4 players are

Gerrard

Torres

Johnson

Yossi

 

All 4 were poor today - all this 'If we don't qualify for the CL then the best players will leave' stuff - well the reason why we lost today was due in no small part to the fact that the above were not up to standard.

 

My best 3 today

Masch

Agger

Kuyt

(and I wanted him left out - and he was not that good but he was in the best 3 - especially in the first half - says it all)

Says as much about the team as it does about the player/performance.

 

Personally I'm not gonna slag him anymore as it is obvious that he does exactly what the gaff is looking for in the center, time to get to the root of that problem imo.

I thought he was very poor yesterday. Looked one paced and unable to anticipate absolutely anything - always on his heels. Pity as he was showing promise up to a month ago

3. Agger......................................................... 80 votes....................................1 point.

 

All sites had Mascher as MOM.

ST had it as above.

TLW had Gerrard 3rd.

YNWA had Agger 2nd and Lucas 3rd.

6CM had Gerrard 2nd and Agger 3rd.

Est1892 had too few votes to evaluate properly.

 

Johnson's lead cut dramatically to just 2 points.
