Hi Dave,

 

I think it was you who told me this, but as the man in the incontinence pants once said "I'm prepared to stand corrected".

 

Wasn't the ill-treatment of Ginola (hahahaha) more to do that on the eve of the Bulgaria game Ginola came out and slated all the non-Parisean based French players (like Cantona and Papin) thereby causing a divide in the dressing room.

 

I know GH wasn't on the Usher Christmas card list, but please confirm this.

Yeah, that was it. His comment about Ginola being a traitor had nothing to do with him giving the ball away, it was because his comments the day before the game caused a split in the camp ahead of the biggest game France had been involved in for years.
