Tennis has got a new event with is a bit like cricket's Twenty20. It's called Tie Break Tens and that's basically it - a tie break where the first player to 10 wins. If it gets to 9-9 or more, then it works like getting past deuce in a normal game of tennis (advantage, then win). Players only play one tie break against their opponent and the winner progresses to the next round. There's a very quick turnaround so both the men and the women are involved, though not in mixed matches. Like with T20, there's loads of lights and fireworks between matches etc.

Nadal dismantles Wawrinka in straight sets in one of the most one-sided finals I think I've ever seen. Just total dominance from start to finish. With that, Nadal brings up his 10th French Open win, and 15th Grand Slam title. Oh, and he never dropped a set or went to a tie break in the whole tournament. Phenomenal record.

Del Potro knocks Federer out, and will face Nadal in the semi final. Whoever wins will face either Anderson or Carreno Busta in the final. Amazingly, Federer and Nadal have never faced each other at the US Open.

In the women's, it's all United States as Vandeweghe goes up against Keys, and Venus goes up against Stephens in their semi finals today.

Fair play to Kyle Edmunds into the quarter finals of the Aussie open after a four set win over Seppi.

Got to hand it to him he has these tough five set matches in gruelling heat and you think he'll be out next round as he must be fucked, but he seems to get stronger as each match goes on...

Andy who???

A good red too , said the Man City game inspired him to the Anderson win.

Great game this at the moment Nadal two sets to one up but Cilic is 4-1 up in the fourth set.

But as usual and like Novak , Nadal has called the trainer on for treatment to an "injury" just as the other guy is getting the upper hand.

Pisses me off the way Djokovic and itchy arse always do this
