CISSE and SIMAO in Possible Swap Deal?

Recommended Posts

Now dont go shooting the messenger but a portugese mate has said there are strong rumours in Portugal and there local media that we are offering Benfica a possible swap deal with Cisse to seal the Simao deal with some money on top of approx 4m Euros. NOt sure the legitimacy of this but have not seen anything else on this apart from the following site I was directed to:

http://dn.sapo.pt/2007/05/04/dnsport/liverpool_quer_trocar_cisse_simao.html

Anyways, guess question is what are peoples opinion on this if there is any truth to this as a possibility as know there are plenty who reckon he may not cut it in this league.

I reckon it would be a great piece of business and a coup. Get rid of shite for an experienced class player with plenty (free kick specialist, scores consistently, versatile).

I'm hoping to buy him as a personal investment in a Tevez/MSI type deal, and have offered Benfica a half-eaten Double Decker and an odd sock I found in the street in exchange. I imagine if the story about Cisse is true it'll be a close run thing between my and the club's offer.

Cisse + €4m for Simao would be a fantastic bit of business.

Is Simao that good though? Shipping Cisse out & involving him in a swap deal sounds a good bit of business to me, but is Simao th answer?

Yes.....just swapping Cisse for anything other than a bottle of Cider and a round of sandwiches would be a good deal. Just get fucking rid as his value is depreciating by the week. Simao is what we need and a player the boss likes.

Having said that, there is no way that this deal will happen....sounds like a load of shite to me.

He's way better than our current options on the left, good player, great attitude, can play left, right or through the middle.

rumour has it thierry henry has bought a house in formby

Bless old George with his spacious trousers.

There is also a block of flats due to go up in his shirt pocket; Des Walker and Paul Parker are apparently the financial backers, and will be signing on Tuesday.

I think Simao would be a classy signing, simaomania almost looks palindromic, too. Only one wheel, though.

Sounds good to me. A front 3 of Simao, Tevez & Eto'o.
