Haaretz reporting that approx 300 militants infiltrated Israel. I come back to what I said earlier, if it’s 4 or 5, sound, but 300 is astounding and has to be severely damaging for Netanyahu. And shows a major intelligence failure too.

It'd be great to see a little less of the blame games, the finger-pointing and the political point-scoring that accompanies every outbreak of violence, and a bit more of an acknowledgment about how, regardless of who's 'at fault' in this decades-long dispute, this is absolute shitshow with plenty of losers, and a sincere conversation about how a path forward to peace might come about.

 

Surely there's some cunt out there with the charisma and the ego and the diplomatic skills to grasp the nettle here and make a name for themselves.
