Man Utd (A) - Sun 7th Apr 2024 (3:30pm)

Ridiculous that we've played that shower of shite three times this season & failed to beat them.

I want to blame Quansah but he's a young kid & will learn from that & if it hadn't been him, some other cunt would have gifted them a goal after another five shots on their goal.  We really need to be more clinical, we are battering teams & beating them by one goal, it isn't sustainable.

I'm not too fatalistic about the title, there's a lot of Football to be played.

One league title in 9 seasons for Klopp. Not excactly Shankly or Paisley level.

Shanks wasn't competing against an actual country though to be fair, a corrupt one at that.

And Klopp can fuck off too. Playing Konate on thursday instead of today is one of the bigges mistakes of the season.

It was an awful error, but the defence and midfield and Diaz weren’t the overall problems today. Stuff like that happens, but our attackers haven’t been good enough.

I said yesterday that a draw here wasn't a disaster. Bunch of posters laughing at them on here about their midweek result were foolish. Granted we should have beaten these cunts, but on paper this was our toughest remaining game. We need goals now, and plenty of them. Arsenal are under huge pressure not to drop any points now. This is still in our hands.

COYMRM

At last some common sense

The positive is now the pressure is firmly on Arsenal. They were chasing us down winning and watching us. Now it will be different for them.

The negative- our strikers will no doubt start blowing teams away when it’s too late.

Salah has been woeful and I’m still patiently waiting for Nunez to “explode”

Just accept we aren’t winning the league.  We’ve ran out of steam.  The forwards aren’t scoring and the lads coming back from injury aren’t up to speed.  Jones was absolutely horrific.

Quansah killed us though.  That mistake has been coming since the Brighton game.  He was at it all first half in that game as well.  He’s got too confident holding on to the ball.  He just delays and delays until he’s got one/two options and then plays the highest risk worst one which is easy to get wrong.  We fucked it up not playing Konate and swapping today and Quansah in the week.

That team does NOT win the title - the efficiency of either Citeh or Arsenal will.

A team struggling to beat relegation zone sides and requiring last gasp winners to do so, will always have days when it doesn’t go for them. A team missing a glut of chances and gifting opponents goals to let them back in (rinse and repeat) - don’t win titles.

Not having Jota to lead the line has seriously cost us.

Good man yourself.

Go and support Man City then. I hear they’ve found 115 innovative ways to do better in that way.

People aren’t being fannies. People are rightly pissed off because we’re too casual up front and too casual in defence. Quansah needs to be read the riot act. Despite the plaudits he’s a long way from being VVD.

It’s a rare mistake, but clearly we don’t want it in a massive game like this..but just look at the amount of youngsters carrying the ream-Bradley, Quansah, Kelleher in goal doing a pretty sterling job.

By rights, we shouldn’t really be in a Title race. We’re really a team in transition, but crickey dick we need a ruthless finisher.

No chance Arsenal win out. Our games are a bit easier.

They have to face Emery who has beaten them once already. Spurs away these away and Wolves away and Chelsea at home.

Is that a joke?

Exactly Quansah ‘s only a young lad and has stepped up and been mostly great.

I hate this place sometimes.

Why? Because he’d already done it at least twice in the first half but we were in a position to recover from it. It was too casual. He didn’t look. He was too busy thinking he could be cool. There was an easy pass to Kelleher. It was braindead and if he doesn’t take criticism he doesn’t learn.

Cannot comprehend anyone calling the players bottlers. A draw at Old Trafford isn’t a bad result. Long way to go and arsenal still have to play Tottenham.

A draw against this shite United team is 100% bad result. Especially after they looked like rabbit in the headlights in the first half.

Massive 2 points lost for me. Probably the easiest too.
