Its so weird how we always seem to struggle against newly promoted teams.

I'm glad we've got them all out of the way now!

One thing I will say about the three shit teams who came up: nice away kits.

We lacked a bit of concentration at times in this one, and while there was only 1 goal in it, there was always a possibility that any sloppiness at the back could cost us. We've seen that in numerous games this season.

Great opportunism by Darwin for the opener. An absolute belter by Macca (who was outstanding all night) to restore the lead. A very well-taken header by Cody to kill the game.

And a big thumbs-down to the TNT dickhead who cut to a feed of last night's Red Sox highlights in the second half.

Bit of a shock on Optimum Sports with a female commentator who was very good, and a pretty fair 2nd man who it transpired was Phil Jagielka and never mentioned Heysel, undersoil heating or Clive Thomas once.

On a more serious point those two attacking substitutes for Sheffield United were disgusting. How was McBurnie not sent off for the most blatant elbow to Konate's face, and Uvavu just took a wild kick at Ibou and injured him because he lost the ball and spent 20 minutes running around like a dodgem car.

Wasn't even mentioned on TNT at the time.

Surprised that more was not made of this. The ball had long gone when he scissor kicked Konate with both feet off the floor.

As far as I could see from the replay it was a horrible shithouse challenge. Similar to the Pickford one on Van Dijk. Think Konate was very lucky to escape.

It may have been accidental though, the replay was very brief and the whole situation was over in the glimpse of a second.

Anyway not surprised that VAR didnt bother to check it. Absolutely nothing will surprise me from the officials.

I don't think it was accidental. They were shithouse cunts whole night. Even after the 3rd goal I was worried their forward is going to injure someone.

Yeah I thought it looked deliberate on the replay, could be wrong though

The officials made a real Eranu with that one.

He's not even a footballer that McBurnie, just a full on thug.
