Unfortunately, that sort of performance means we start again next season with a new manager and without several of our better players. There's no way FSG will take responsibility and spend like they'd need to in order to get us back on track. The excuse from the usual suspects will, of course, be "oohhh we're not in the CL, we can't possibly afford to spend as much money" even though plenty of Premier League clubs who never sniff the competition can lavish hundreds of millions on new signings.
