"Outside the boundary walls, a desert. A cursed earth. Inside the walls, a cursed city, stretching from the Upper Valley to The Gulf of Arabia. An unbroken concrete landscape. 800 million people living in the ruin of the old world and the mega structures of the new one. Mega blocks. Mega highways. Mega City One. Convulsing. Choking. Breaking under its own weight. Citizens in fear of the street. The gun. The gang. Only one thing fighting for order in the chaos: the men and women of the Hall of Justice. Juries. Executioners. Judges."

It's like that film with matt Damon in elysium.

"Hi, is that Mohammed bin Salman I'm speaking to? Great. Mr Sunak was wondering if you could find time between mass public beheadings, torturing and imprisoning homosexuals, murdering journalists and bombing children in Yemen to pop over for a weekend at Chequers?"

I'd be surprised if you hear a peep out of our beloved government. Too many missiles, tanks and aircraft to push.

Is that the sound of some missiles exploding in Yemen? Fire up the production line, there's Saudi gold in dem der hills. Just ignore the burnt and vaporised kids.

So, Yemen, already bombed to shit, is being further bombed to shit. And we’re in on it.

Us and the US targeted a limited number of Houti sites being used for attacks on commercial shipping in the red sea.

The Saudis continue to indiscriminately bomb and murder innocent Yemeni families, unconnected to the Houtis. They also routinely murder refugees from Yemen who.are trying to flee the Houti regime.

Bit of a difference there mate.

That's true, we're only selling them the weapons to murder women and children.

Yes, us the states, France and others. I'll give you that. It's a fucking disgraceful state of affairs that we should be ashamed of but last night's strikes were very different and I think fully justified.

Agreed. Our technology allows us to be more moral murderers. It's super.

Business is business. They are saying now Russia managed to buy $8.7 billion worth of components for their arms production from Western companies in 10M of 2023 alone. And they are not only under sanctions but basically involved in a proxy war against the West.

Did you not get the memo? Hold on, let me dig it out for you.

"Iran good. West bad. Islamic extremists good. Democracy bad. Attacking civilian ships good. Defending civilian ships bad."

And no one embodies that more than the Saudis.

The normalization w Israel, for "business relations" was a major factor in Palestine.

The UAE went so far as to state that they seperate business from politics re: Israel/Palestine.

Tell him, no.

Since this is the Saudi thread that is a good point.

The UN has estimated that the war in Yemen had killed 377,000 by the end of 2021, through direct and indirect causes. Over 150,000 of these deaths were the direct result of the armed conflict, while far more have died due to hunger and disease as a result of the humanitarian caused by the war.
