We are not going to get anywhere with that defence, no matter how good we are attacking-wise. Even Matip and TAA who are supposedly meant to be the competent ones in the back-four were shockingly weak in the build-up to the Burnley goal. Pretty much a self-fulfilling prophecy now. The fans expect us to concede, the players themselves expect us to concede and concede is exactly what we do and will do for the foreseeable future.

 

No, TAA is meant to be the talented 18 year old learning how to play at this level, not the defensive lynchpin.
