City are basically Gog from Peep Show.

They're doing well for themselves now and can flash their money around as compensation for being a joke in the past, but United still remember making them eat bogeys and wank off dogs at school.

All the cash in the world doesn't stop someone being a figure of fun to those who've long lorded it over them.  City know it as well.  Their true identity is still in there.

That result bodes extremely poorly for Tuesday. City are due a massive rebound win now, and it’s difficult to see a team of their quality not achieving it.

Would you rather they win and have confidence high?

At least this way they have added pressure. One wrong pass and it could go all pear shaped. The mood is glum as it is.

Fear the backlash from this defeat.

They are going to be gunning for it.

Nah they'd be gunning for it anyway, didn't want them easily beating united 6-0 then rocking up in Tuesday with their dicks swinging about.

If they try too hard for it they'll leave themselves open.

They've also got the thoughts that they're vulnerable at home in their minds now, as well.

See them as being rattled, mate. Two huge losses on the trot against their biggest rivals, and Confidence is shaken.  and we should make it worse for them by starting on the front foot, pretty much like the last game....get a couple of goals and start managing the game by controlling the tempo. The worst approach would be to start the game defensively

BM forums are a great read right now.

"I don't care for Tuesday"

"Worst week of my life"

"We have Spurs too - if we lose on Tues and then at WHL..."

"United could still put pressure on us"

"Don't care for CL - opportunity of a lifetime blown"

"Mentality weak"

"Takes shine of a good season"
