So unprofessional that today.  It was embarrassing.  Klopp should have hooked him about 15 minutes before the ref finally sent him off.  He was really poor throughout the game and didn’t look confident in possession at all.   I’m guessing but he looked a bit rattled about his position in the team which is clearly under threat.  When Van Dijk plays like a colossus again like he did today he must know what’s coming.

Loads of people defending him or saying it shouldn't be a talking point on twitter. He was a fucking idiot, he knew they where targeting him after the yellow and still made stupid challenges. Absolutely no need for the last one.

True, Klopp should have hooked him mind.  He wont be Captain next season

Stupid sending off obviously, but I honestly don’t think he was that bad prior. He was busy, delivered some nice cross field passes. A 6/10 game before the sending off, which what you get from him 50% of the time.

This sounds like a maths question.

If Jordan Henderson has a 6/10 game 50% of the time, and always gives 110%, how long will he be Captain?

Ian Wright nailed him on MoTD last night. Showed how he could have very easily played a forward pass to Sadio Mane who had drifted into a nice bit of space in a potentially dangerous area - it was a ball that a midfielder with good vision would have played - not Henderson though he went for the safe sideways pass and we ended up going nowhere.

He does this far too often.

Touché. He gives you 6 or 7 every game. He’s not the most gifted footballer... but at the moment, he’s decent enough all round IMO. We had four attacking players on the pitch. That we failed to create any meaningful chance in the first half, wasn’t down to him. Again, his sending off was very stupid, and could’ve been costly... However, he shouldn’t have been given the first yellow, so he was somewhat unlucky.

He looks worse when returning from injury, no surprise there, but overall he’s a good player. The stick he gets is ott.

He shouldn’t be in our starting lineup when everyone is fit and firing

It’s up to Keita and Fabinho to stake their claim IMO. So long as he’s outperforming/outtraining them, then he should be starting ahead of them.

No. No he does not. Not unless you're marking players out of 20.

I think you’re being overly harsh. Even yesterday, we were outnumbered in midfield, with Watford fielding four natural central players in midfield.. but we controlled the game pretty much from start to finish. Hendo contributed to that. Of course we could’ve done more it, but you know he wasn’t the only one at fault. Shaqiri was the only player who looked likely in the first half.

I have to admit to laughing when he was shouting at no one after he smashed a shot a mile over the bar. He does this so regularly. He's like a drunk tramp in town, angry and just shouting at thin air.

He's all an act. He wants to appear to be this all action, no nonsense captain that's always mouthing off and rallying the troops. Then he hides behind opposition players and passes the ball straight back from which it came.

He's Mr. Average.

Not even close to being correct. Henderson has been an ultimate professional and does at least a good a job as Milner but somehow Milner is brilliant and Henderson is shit. I think they both do a great job for the team and both in unspectacular ways.

One slight difference, among others, is that Milner delivers assists on a regular basis.

He doesn’t though... that’s just factually incorrect. He regularly gets the most touches in a game. He’s not very ambitious with his passing I’d agree with that, but he doesn’t hide.

He clearly does hide.

And the reason he has the most touches is because he plays tip tap shit to the back four constantly.
