its better to have players who are 100% commited rather than ones who dont want to get injured and more to the point what happens if McCullock gives Carra an injury that puts him out of the game on Wednesday.

 

We dont need to take chance so why should we?

I noticed that a few regulars were left out of the reserve game last night, so maybe they'll be in contention for Saturday. The likes of Gerrard, Carra, Agger, Kuyt and Masch will surely be rested.

 

This is one game at home when I wouldn't mind just a point. I don't want to see a good Red like Paul Jewell go down.

As bad as wigan are they have got goals in them, they wont be doing the all out defense shithouse tactics we usually face against medicore opposition either (they cant afford to). So basically I think we should play a pretty strong team and I expect us to win 3-1 with them getting the first goal.
