We're going to fuck this up in a really special way and end up getting a draw.

Doesn't help us, doesn't help them, helps Everton, Utd and Newcastle.

I'm not convinced it helps Everton, no-one will be expecting Leicester to get anything from the game.

I still think Newcastle faltering is our only chance of getting top 4, so if Brighton turn up against them and get a win, we then need a few goals tonight too. And that has me thinking back to Crystal Palace 9 years ago and going 3-0 up and kept chasing goals.

Basically I don’t feel good about tonight at all.

As much as I want Everton to be flushed, I’d hate us to lose tonight. I hope we play well and batter them, alternatively, spawny 1-0 will do.

Agreed. I’ll be taking no pleasure from Everton’s demise if we don’t win tonight.

I don’t care even if we win tonight it might not be enough come 2 weeks time.

If we don’t win tonight, there is 0% chance we’ll qualify for CL. Even if we win and the odds are only 20% afterwards, I’ll be furious if we don’t give ourselves that chance and let the other 2 off the hook.

In the list of potential outcomes a draw is the one that all clubs we have an interest in get something out of simultaneously while being neither a prize, or consolation prize, for us.

There are other results that are more beneficial (Liverpool win for Everton, Liverpool loss for Newcastle, UTD) but the draw is the most disappointing/non-descript outcome.

If we can't win then I'd rather lose than draw tonight.
