I thought the first episode was ok. Took a while to get into it cause you are learning new characters and new plots. At the moment it isn't a patch on GOT, but we'll see. It's very early days.

Exactly the same, man. Loved it. 
 

Overall good, but was a bit like a mid season GoT episode rather than a big open. That’s probably a good thing.

Off to a good start--characters and conflict established; hopefully they can keep it up.

Fucked off the football and watched this instead. Judging by the match thread it was 110% the right call. A good start and it looks like there's a bunch of cunts 172 years prior to the GoT timeline too. Must be something in the waters.

Thought it was a bit boring really.  I guess this is the 'lets introduce all the characters' episode but wasn't overly impressed. Matt Smith is a bit of cunt tho.

No idea but they’re not even that much difference in age in real life. Not sure where they’re going with it.

In the prologue when they're choosing the new ruler, Viserys' wife is pregnant. But then later in the prologue it says it is the 9th year of the king's reign so either the princess is supposed to be around 10 years old, or that was another baby the queen was carrying (probably the latter since she did say she's had multiple pregnancies that ended in tragedy).

Loved the second episode and three looks like it's going to be even better. I was so disappointed by the finale of GOT but this second episode has got me hooked again. Like Suarez after Torres if you'll forgive the unmentionable on the GF.
