Why do we have to play these cunts in friendlies?

 

I'm not watching it and didn't care at all before the game but getting a hiding off them at any level is irritating. I would like to see us at least get out of this with a respectable scoreline.

Yeah he looked okay, as did Elliott and Diaz. Carvalho had his moments. Phillips, Williams, Jones and Bobby looked real sluggish.

I know these tours and games suit the commercial operation, but I really don't see that playing this mob is worth the hassle. We're playing like we're half-asleep, they're playing like they're on the inhalers. It's a bit irksome.

It is a bit baffling that we agreed to play these as a first pre season game. With a new manager looking to make a statement, they were always going to start with a strong team. Meanwhile, we've given half of our team an extra week's holiday and started off with some very young lads which showed up at the back.

We have played them friendlies before. I remember Shaquri scoring a worldy, other than that I couldn't tell you if we won or lost the games.

Looking at our starting 11 for this second half, I totally agree.

Cmon, they're training 3 times a day and playing a game, it's the standard routine, it's never worth watching until a week before the season.

A game. Not THIS game. If that's all we want to do, go and play against the second XI, go and play Preston. This is hardly a good match for that purpose.

In work and not remotely arsed about the score in a pre-season friendly, but a lot of LFC Thai fans will have paid good money to watch this, and I can’t help but feel we’ve shafted them. I’m not on board with that.
