Milner and Henderson weren't great. Van Dijk looked a bit dodgy at times. Tsimikas had a decent game.

The Jota sub was baffling. The thinking behind it was probably to get AOC a bit deeper and stop Jorginho getting on the ball and dictating the game. But, it largely killed off our attacking threat. The part when AOC didn't reach the ball which could've put us on a 4 vs 2 counter was infuriating.

A draw there wouldn't usually be a bad result, but we needed the win. Milner seems the scapegoat. He didn't have a particularly good game. But, he gave away a free kick which we defended well and then conceded a 1 in a hundred goal which most of the time ends up in the stands. Nothing said about van Dijk inexplicably not even trying to get over for the Pulisic goal? Or Henderson killing the attacks by constantly giving the ball away?

It's definitely City's league to lose now.

Our midfield is absolutely rancid and has been killing us all season.

The sicknotes that litter it.

The constant changes week after week.

The lack of cohesion and fluidity and understanding because of the constant changes.

Lack of legs.

Lack of creativity.

Lack of helping out with a goal or two.

All that said the league season is irrelevant now anyway, it has lost all sporting integrity with the way covid has been managed, with some teams having two week breaks, games where full strength sides face depleted by covid sides....games postponed with seemingly no consistency....games where managers are not present for one side.

Zero sporting integrity.

Europe and the cups offer some potential relief from this farce, but i dare say they will descend into similar farce yet.

On the plus side, it gives you rich source material for constant moaning?

The way this, team and squad has been allowed to just fall away is nothing sort of incompetence from the club. Its only been 3 season since we were CL winners and 2 since PL winners but the rott thats been allowed to fester like a cancer in the team is just unbelievable.

They can build all the new stands they want and get all the nice shiny sponsers but they have neglected the moat important thing. The team and need calling out. Ffs Cancer and aids were made to suffer when the team hit rock bottom and these twats should be held to account as well.

im starting to think Salah is looking at this team and realizes it needs a rebuild and holding out on signing a contract to see weather FSG are going to invest

There was a story about that a few weeks ago, he apparently wanted to know who we planned on signing in January and in the summer supposedly wanted another striker bringing in obviously it was in the Athletic or similar shite site so dont know how true it was.

We need to win that trophy. If Klopp leaves in 2024 and he's won the CL and PL his place is cemented as a legend of this club anyway but it will feel like a massive waste of what could have been.

It's a massive waste anyway due to the cheating cunts at City and the complicit rats in the PL

You don’t think the club is being run on a top four first basis given the lack of investment since 2019? It’s looking increasingly like an out and out replica of mid to late stage Wenger Arsenal.

They done it with the Red Socks, spent big until they won the world series then scaled it back buying up and coming talent sounds familiar doesnt it.

The more you see of the Mané incident, the more you think that the officials got it right. Carragher is talking sense for once. It's a wrist in the face. And Mané isn't "looking for" his opponent.

I can't be having this Chelsea were the better team stuff either. They had the possession but we had 2 or 3 chances that we should've done much better with.

We have owners who sack managers for winning trohpies and missing out on top 4.

Thats all the proof we need on what their priorities are.

We haven't invested since losing the Champions League final. It's criminal what FSG have done, but it's been swept under the rug by Klopp's genius. It's simply unsustainable to mount title challenges with a negative net spend when your rivals are spending £100m+ every season.

Not saying you’re wrong, these owners are running this as a business. That’s the kind of owners they are. That said, we should keep in mind the reason we’re more or less out of the title race, the team that are running away with it are financially doped.

We’ve been to Spurs and Chelsea over the last couple of weeks, and despite not being on our best form we didnt loose any of them. If there was level playing field we’d be right up there.

Keita and Chamberlain, 90m in total cost and you have to play Henderson and Milner so they can get passed around all game. And then they come on and do even worse. Says it all about those two.

City would have dumped them 6 months in and bought upgrades, that's the difference between the two clubs.
