We'd have won comfortably in 90 mins had he been available.  Let's hope it's not too serious.

They said he just felt a tightness in his hamstring, didn't they?

EDIT:

According to The Times‘ Paul Joyce, Thiago suffered a ‘tight hamstring’ which deemed him unable to take part in the match.

We're challenging for too many things to give him a long rest now. I'd rather we play him as much as we can now and let him miss the first couple of months of next season if we have to.

Nah , if his hamstring goes he’ll be out for over a month Best he rests for a week now and let the medics get to work

He was never going to play v Norwich anyway. If he misses the West Ham game next weekend, he isn't required for the Inter game, so has 2 weeks to get ready for Brighton.

I was replying to the suggestion that we give him the rest of the season off to get hm properly fit for next season as we did with Matip.

Fuck that. Make hay while the sun shines. We are in with a shout of doing something really special this season. I think we should use him as much as possible even if it possibly ruins his career or cripples him for next season. Giving him time off now is no guarantee he’d be raring to go next year anyway. He’s not exactly played much football since he’s been here though has he? I was devastated yesterday when he was left out. We look so much better with him in the team.

To be clear i wasn't suggesting we should...just wondering if we might, as clearly he has problems and those problems are leading to repeated injuries.

He's a ridiculous passer of the ball who sometimes can be a ridiculous passer of the ball. If he keeps on being a ridiculous passer of the ball and can cut out being a ridiculous passer of the ball, then he'll be ridiculously good.

Anyone sum this up?
