It's the worst Italy team in living memory. Balotelli wouldn't get anywhere near a side with Baggio or Del Piero in their prime. They were still wheeling Pirlo out and he's older than Joan Collins.

Surprised moof, Cardie or that Mil-ing person haven't railed against this. How dare you suggest finishing runner-up is a nothing achievement!

The worst Italy team in living memory was the one with Immobile and Pelle leading the line, the team Mario played in was actually decent.

Just as we can't sign certain players because they simply don't want to come here we can't get rid of Balotelli because nobody wants him...or Borini, or Jose Enrique or any of the other dead weight floating around the squad.

It's a long season, with many an injury and twist of fate. If he's here, work him as hard as the rest - we may need him before it's over.

No one suggested that he would. But, if you think a team could get into the final of the Euros whilst being in its worst ever state, then you're just a fucking moron. And, Pirlo was not just Italy's best player, he was the best player of the whole bloody tournament.

That's because the standard of International football is the worst it's ever been too. On both counts.

You're full of shit, mate. That European Championship was witness to arguably the greatest national football team since Brazil 70', who was following up triumphs in the World Cup and the previous Euro. Italy also knocked out a top class Germany team who has been in the semis or finals of the last four top international competitions. Now, try and tell me that this is worse standard than when fucking Greece was winning the European Championships.

Wibble

Worst England team in living memory, worst French, worst Brazilian, worst Dutch, worst Italian, the list is endless.

International football is filled with players stealing a living who wouldn't have got anywhere near it ten years ago.

To steal a line from Tigerland, Balotelli needs to listen for the pop.  That's the sound his head makes when it comes out of his arse for the first time.  'Cos that's where he's at, for all the ability and potential he undoubtedly possesses, his head is firmly wedged up his own arse.  He lives in Mario land, and struggles to relate to the real world.

He never was, isn't now, or ever will be what we need.

What he brings to the team is only a slight upgrade on what a fucking corpse would bring, but the corpse wouldn't be spouting inane shite on Twatter.  Or letting off fireworks in its coffin.

If it wasn't for the fact that £16 million is still a good chunk, I'd sever his contract, write the cunt off and drive him to the airport myself.

The latest, Balotelli back to the club we bought him from, we pay his wages and loan him back. Mihajlovic and Balotelli, yikes. Mihajlovic makes Roy Keane look like Lallana, he will end up punching him or banning him from the club within a week. But Milan do strange stuff these days so anything is possible.

Milan bring back Balotelli?

Football Italia10 Hours Ago

There are shock reports Milan are in negotiations to take Mario Balotelli back from Liverpool.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic is open to the idea and met with SuperMario in Florence ahead of Sunday night’s Serie A opener against Fiorentina.

It would only be a loan deal free of charge and the Rossoneri could even ask Liverpool to pay a portion of his wages.

Mihajlovic already worked with Balotelli when he was assistant manager to Roberto Mancini at Inter.

Milan sold Balotelli to Liverpool a year ago for £16m, but he struggled to make an impact and has been told he has no place in the current squad.

Balo has been linked with Sampdoria, Bologna, Fiorentina and even Lazio if they qualify for the Champions League, while Sevilla are thought to be interested in Spain.

A return to Milan would be a huge shock, especially as he did not leave on good terms with President Silvio Berlusconi.

The patron referred to him as “a bad apple” and he was sold partly due to off the field incidents.

He scored 30 goals in 54 competitive games for the Rossoneri, providing 12 assists. He also received 20 bookings and a red card.

On the other hand, Balotelli always confessed to being a Milan supporter – even when playing for their arch-rivals Inter.

He would also relish a return to Italy to be closer to his family following the death of his adoptive father.

Milan are finding it difficult to prise Zlatan Ibrahimovic away from Paris Saint-Germain, so Balo could fill the gap until the Swede's contract expires next summer
