Props once more to whoever ‘Big Duncs Fod’ is over on GOT. Time and again things from this thread get put on there, word for word, and still nobody’s calling him a murdering, Redshite bastard.

Collyman as well saying some lad from non league has been taking Klopps PEDs and now Bayern Munich want to sign him. The PEDs have made his technique better.

There's a difference between what the EFL and the PL will do. They'll be let off no doubt at all.

The EFL's financial limits are far more onerous than the PL's admittedly. But being the only PL club to breach the PL's limits during the period impacted by covid and by some £100m+ and, other clubs at the bottom of the league facing relegation, who have been within the rules, I think the PL will be under huge pressure to sanction them with a points deduction.

Taking that Covid loan as well and still being in breach. That's just a pisstake.

I’ll be happy to see them go down. They should be hit hard with the heaviest punishment.

A 19 points deduction this season.

And a 95 points deduction next season.

They should be fined 27 points this season, 28 the next, 29 etc...

It's good to see them squirm. They are always on their high horse about something, always moaning or grassing to journalists and the police on Twitter. But won't own it if they are found blatantly cheating or hanging onto dodgy Russian sponsorship deals after everyone has terminated theirs. They will just go on about the Super League and how FFP has been designed to keep all the big clubs at the top.

Given that they have very little revenue and gate receipts on a par with lower sized PL teams they've managed to pay large transfer fees and wages in addition to hiring managers like Ancelotti and Koeman giving them a massive advantage over clubs with similar income or even larger. They are in the top 10 spenders over the last couple of years yet create virtually nothing commercially and simply rely on the TV deal.

Imagine Bournemouth, Norwich or Fulham buying loads of players in the £35m-£40m range and paying a manager a fortune?. They've lived within their means and budget and have been relegated because of it.

Crystal Palace have a similar income but have lived within their means, they buy the odd expense player every now and again but mainly shop in a lower market than Everton.

Burnley might go down this season despite Dyche having almost nothing to spend for years.

Blatant cheating from the peoples club.

Very true, ffs they wanted us hung, drawn and quartered for the ESL thing.

Fuck them.

Just don't get where this paranoia that everyone hates them comes from.

If anything they are always talked about fondly in the media, far more than they deserve after 30 years of dross and underacheivment. There are also loads of ex Everton players working in the media too, which they conveniently gloss over, when mentioning ex Reds.

Suppose it's some sort of defence mechanism for themselves, that if they think everyone is out to get them they must still be relevant.

Well nobody is out to get them and they are no longer relevant.

Imagine if they had to put up with the hatred we get, they'd all be sectioned.

And can you imagine the high horse clamour if any other team had broken the rules on FFP like they have. They wanted us to get a points deduction over ESL and we never even did anything.

Surely as protectors of the Corinthian Spirit they should want to be punished? Isn't punishing teams for their wrongdoings something they're big on? I recall them saying something about the 'Traitor 6' during the ESL fiasco last year?

Yes but that only applies to teams they don't like. The flexi time Corinthians.
