Chelsea can't sell any tickets for matches or any club merchandise. And can't renew player contracts or sell/sign players for the foreseeable. And obviously he can no longer sell the club. Ouch.

Moshiri will make Jim White Chairman and then run away and hide. Kenwright will have to sell Jenny Seagrove to pay the player's wages. He will then make a tearful plea to Paul McCartney to save the club, only to be reminded that Macca long ago switched allegiance to LFC. He will then try Ringo, who'll point out he's 'always been a red and I hope you get sucked straight down into oblivion, peace and luv'.

Reading deducted 6 points in 2021

Birmingham City deducted 9 points In 2019

Sheffield Wednesday 12 but ended up 6 In 2021

Derby 21 points This season

Wigan Athletic 12 points in 2021

Luton 30 points in 2009

A lot of these clubs had losses but obviously none as big as Everton. The majority of clubs ended up relegated.

These were all members of the Football League. The PL are a bunch of shithouses and if Everton are punished then so should City and Newcastle be. They let Abramovich get away with loads until it's become impossible to do anything but punish him for his friendship with Putin. Where were they 15-20 years ago when we all knew who Abramovich was mates with? Usmanov too. Useless, spineless twats.

15-20 years ago Putin wasn't sanctioned.

The thing about City and Chelsea (and Newcastle) is that they're making half-arsed attempts to hide their FFP breaches; Everton are publishing theirs, the fuckwits.

Surely without Usmanov's money to back him up then Moshiri must be wondering what the future holds for him at Everton? There's a distinct chance they'll end up relegated (this season or next), with a Bramley Moore-sized millstone around his neck.

Yeah, but anybody with half a brain knew that he was a cunt yet they still did business with him and his mates. He hasn't just become a cunt overnight despite the Ukraine war.

I agree chelsea should have been sanctioned by the PL when Abramovich came in and started throwing his money around, buying players then loaning them out to stop other clubs seen as rivals from buying them or, having to pay over the odds for them if chelsea showed up.

They did fuck all when mansour rocked up at city. They put up more resistance to the Saudi's at Newcastle but capitulated once they got the separation of ownership declaration.

Shame they didnt take the time to amend the PL's fit and proper ownership test to ensure murderous regimes couldnt own one of 'their' clubs in the meantime.

Fit and Proper is the PLs equivalent of 'We're all in this together.'

The Premier League's "fit & proper" test has always consisted of one question - are you rich?

The sticking point with the Saudis was piracy really. Everything else was a sideshow. Sad that that's where they drew the line. Murdered journalists are one thing, but you can't fuck with broadcast rights.
